Hypnosis I

Explore the hidden potential of your Unconscious Mind for enhanced performance in your personal and professional life.

The focus of this inspiring and highly experiential 2 day training is to teach popular Ericksonian hypnotic inductions and hypnotherapeutic principles. We will demystify hypnosis and show you how to identify and utilise naturally occurring hypnotic phenomena in everyday life. As an NLP Practitioner you'll appreciate the expediency, greater effectiveness and depth that Ericksonian Hypnotherapy will contribute to your skills set.

The Certified Practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy training introduces and teaches the fundamentals of permissive / indirect hypnosis. You will learn the basics of conversational hypnotic (trance) inductions as well as some classic / traditional induction techniques. This training is offered as a supplement after successful completion of NLP Practitioner training.

Course content:

  • The fundamentals of Ericksonian Hypnosis
  • Patterns of indirect suggestion
  • Identifying indicators of trance & stages of hypnosis
  • Suggestibility tests
  • Components of Basic Trance Inductions
  • Ericksonian Inductions
  • The general Hypnosis Paradigm
  • The Hypnotic Interview
  • Ideomotor Signalling & The Pendulum
  • Deepening techniques
  • Post-Hypnotic Suggestions
  • How to conduct a Diagnostic Trance

Patients are patients because they are out of rapport with their own unconscious mind... Patients are people who have had too much outside programming - so much programming that they have lost touch with their inner selves.

“Jevon was originally an enigma, and maybe he still is at some level to me. When he directs his warmth, his words wrap you in an amazing glow. He seems to have a light energy shining out of his eyes all the time. I have done 2 Hypnotherapy courses before. I can confidently say that Jevon displayed mastery in his approach to facilitating and imparting the skills."

-Brad Abbott, Consultant Trainer, South Africa-
